This is the first hotel I have stayed at for many years where the hotel provided only a small bar of soap in the bathroom and nothing else - especially one part of an established chain and charging so much. The bathroom was very poorly cleaned. Bed was small and uncomfortable. The surcharges in the restaurant for deviating from the... more

Thank you for taking the time to respond to your visit to Mull and i appreciate your comments. Regards the toiletries our order unfortunately was delayed and being situated on Mull there was no alternative. We normally provide shampoo and bath shampoo. The price of the steak relects the excellant quality of the Mull beef that we use for our...

The hotel is set on the side of the main sea route between Oban and Mull, Oban and Tiree and is used by leisure craft running up and down the soun. The hotel is designed so that you can do everything you want - swimming, eating, drinking, dancing, piano playing and shopping for local crafts without setting foot outside. That... more

The hotel has a lovely outlook from well appointed bedrooms and a spacious dining room. The staff were all friendly and very efficient. Meals were excellent, with good choices and excellent service. My partner and I stayed at this hotel for one night in April and enjoyed a comfortable stay overall. It was not the most promising start when we found ourselves standing at reception for 5 minutes being ignored by staff members serving others at the bar without even acknowledging us, and then to discover they had no record of our... more

Had a couple of days here to relax. Room, restaurant and spa facilities were all really well presented and comfortable. Shame the same couldn't be said of the gardens which really looked neglected. Food and drink from the bar menu was very tasty, but rather poor value for money. £10 for a burger with 5-6 chips seems a bit of... more

As part of a group of American tour operators and travel agents, I spent two nights at the Isle of Mull Hotel and Spa under the aegis of VisitScotland, the Scottish tourism board. My first challenge came with the bed mattresses. Since I have a bad back, I asked for a firmer mattress. When I was told that all mattresses... more
