This is a lovely bed and breakfast in a simply fantastic location for the Craignure to Oban ferry - literally across the road. The owners will look after you very well and are helpful and friendly. The view from the twin room was beautiful - right down the Loch. The weather wasn't great and skies wrere grey but this is part of the charm . You get a real sense of the majesty of the mountains staying here. Next door is a pub/bistro serving excellent meals.(Mac Gregor's Roadhouse I think it was called) Service was poor - we were virtually ignored but the food was very good. They also serve Costa Coffee!! Take one on the ferry as the Caledonian Mac Brayne coffee was horrid! Near to Linnhe view is Duart Castle which we loved. The tea shop there serves REAL homemade cakes and soup. Well worth a visit.Walk down behind the castle towards the sea for a great view back on the castle.I spotted an otter in the sea near the site of a protected shipwreck. Magic! more
