Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The breakfast was a treat, full Scottish with home made bread. Packed lunches, again with home made bread, even made with left over Meat Platter Special from the local pub/restaurant - which I challenge anybody to finish! Filled our flasks and set us off to enjoy the beautiful island. Internet access, honesty... more

We stayed 4 nights here in June 2008, and returned this year for 4 more. Druimnacroish continues to be a great place to stay in Mull. Wifi cover seems complete now and works well. On some evenings dinner is available and we were lucky enough to coincide with one day - and we enjoyed a good dinner with a fine... more

We've just returned from a lovely 5 day break on Mull during which time we stayed in the self-catering apartment at Druimnacroish, just outside of Dervaig, which is to the north end of Mull. It was perfectly located to explore the north half of the island. We only ventured south to visit Iona on a beautifully sunny day but, be... more

I stayed in the self-catering apartment very shortly after it was refurbished, in fact, the owners told me and my family that we were only the second party to have stayed there. And what a stay it was! When we decided that we would, for the first time, spend our summer holiday in the Isle of Mull, we feared that... more

We visited Druimnacroish last April and it was lovely. We biked from the ferry in the rain but were given a warm welcome from Neil. The setting is absolutely stunning - a beautiful valley that has a little town about 2 miles away. We stayed in the large room upstairs and were very comfortable. Marvellous breakfast and we are returning... more

Having come from a very cold and unsatisfactory hotel elsewhere in the Highlands, we just loved Druimnacroish. We felt welcomed from the word go, as we were offered tea and shortbread on arrival. All food was excellent and home made and we loved the atmosphere - all those books around the place and the blazing wood fire every evening in... more

If you are wanting to get away from everything this is the place to go. You can't fail to chill out in this beautiful farmhouse with wonderful views and spacious bedrooms. The owners are a lovely couple and their home made bread and jam is to die for. Who needs a television in your room when you can look out... more

We loved Druimnacroish and will certainly go back next time we make it to Mull. I've read the two reviews and I think the person who was scared of spiderwebs and limited menus really should stick to Holiday Inns in cities. This is a country house (hence the name) and if you don't like remote, well, what are doing on... more

Druimnacroish is a very pleasant, small and friendly hotel. It caters mainly to adults but they did their best to make my 6 year old daughter feel comfortable. It is situated along a quiet road, up a valley from the West coast of the island. The surroundings are quiet and restful, rolling hills upon which innumerable, and sometimes suicidal, sheep... more
