My husband and I stayed at Inishkea not long after it opened and it was everything you would want a good B&B to be. We were greeted by the host Caroline with a pot of tea and two huge slices of home made chocolate cake, fantastic! Our room was spotless as was the bathroom. Very well equiped and tastefully decorated - think Habitat/ white linen etc. The breakfasts were amazing with something different on offer from your usual 'Full Scottish' fare - fresh panacakes and strawberrys, home made jam served in a dish - not a pre-packed item of food in site.
The house itself was a delight to be in, and it is one of the few B&B's we have stayed in that we genuinely felt comfortable enough to use the comunal living room (which is for guests only) with the views you get from the house its would be a waste not to make the most of the accommodation on offer. We even sat outside with a bottle of wine and enjoyed the susnset.
