I first set foot in the Bellachroy in 1977 when I spent a very happy few weeks working there after finishing my A levels. I went back on several occasions in the early 80's but our most recent trip was my first time on the island in nearly thirty years. I'm delighted to say Mull hasn't changed a bit, nor... More

We stay at Bellachroy for 2 nights in January for our random last minute trip to Scotland, and we loved every single moment we were there. Firstly, as others say here, the host and staff are the best. We were very well taken care of. They are welcoming, friendly and very attentive. We had asked Nick about some walks around... More

Ate here on our last night in Mull. We were a party of 16 so they accommodated us all around a large table upstairs. I started with Pork Belly and Black Pudding followed by Seafood Chowder and topped it off with Sticky Toffee Pudding and a Brandy. Couldn't fault anything. More

Third time of staying at the hotel. Food is excellent (good choice of meat and seafood dishes) served in the lounge bar. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and warm. Bathrooms have great showers. Public bar is great to sit in with a pint after a day on the hills. Will be back. More

On planning our trip to Mull for the first time and having undertaken a lot of research of other hotels across the island, we intuitively staked all our hopes on the Bellachroy being to our liking. Like the A Team, we just love it when a plan comes together!!! This is a fantastic place led by the warmth and attention... More

We had dinner with our family in the Bellachroy Hotel. The welcome from Nick, debbie and the staff could not have been more warm. The menu which is heavily based on local meat and seafood was enticing and the reality was not disappointing. Top this off with the scenery which surrounds the Bellachroy Hotel and you have a great example... More

Stayed at the Bellachroy for two nights last week during our Scotland road trip. Being vegan. my expectations we quite low and I was reconciled to the fact that I would be living on chips, toast and salad. Imagine my surprise when we went down for dinner and I was presented with a number of gorgeous vegan options. In fact,... More

Our first visit to Mull was a spur of the moment decision and we were guided to the Bellachroy Hotel by the reviews we had read. We were not disappointed. The hotel is in a great location and our room had a really comfortable bed with a great shower in the en suite. We arrived in time to enjoy a... More

Oh we had such a ball at the Bellachroy! The location is amazing - out in the wilds of Mull in the tiny picturesque village of Dervaig. Six of us stayed in the really comfortable rooms - great en-suites, comfy beds, really handy sitting room too which was ideal for our party. Two of our group who booked too late... More

We had eaten at the Bellachroy on a number of occasions and loved it, in particular the amazingly fresh local platters. We managed to get away for a weekend without the children and decided to go to our beloved Mull. The welcome at the Bellachroy was lovely and after a long drive we were taken straight to our room. This... More
