I booked a room via Hostelz.com, I don't know whether it was their fault or not but the room wasn't available. The yurt was offered instead but with no bathroom or heating we didn't think it was suitable accommodation. We stayed in some lovely hotels instead, but with such short notice we were lucky we could get them!

i have worked all over scotland and this is by far the worst i have ever seen . there was 7 of us staying here at £25 per head 4 of us were on the floor on top of very dirty mattresses . There is no way this poor excuse for a hostile should remain open

Would not recommend. We stayed in a shared dorm. Foam matresses on the floor, dirty sheets (one of our party caught fleas), bathroom falling apart, insufficient water pressure for the shower, no lock for the room.
