We stayed in the Western Isles Hotel for four nights in June. It is a lovely old fashioned hotel set in the most fantastic location overlooking Tobermory Bay. Although its location appears to be its best feature, the restaurant must come a close second as the food was wonderful, and the staff very caring and helpful. We are definitely returning. more

we've been to tobermory many times, staying in a number of different hotels, but had not stayed at the western isles before. we will certainly stay here again. the location is perfect, overlooking the bay with beautiful panoramic views. service was friendly, professional and helpful. our room was small (all we could get with a late booking) but very comfortable.... more

The views out of of this hotel down the Sound of Mull and over the harbour are magic. You can just sit and watch for hours. The restaurant and conservatory bar serve excellent food, service good, rooms very comfortable, decor clean and nice although in one or two places a little tired.
