I stayed at the Western Isles hotel recently to celebrate the wedding of an old school friend. A girlfriend and I shared a twin room overlooking the harbour. We paid extra for the view but it was worth it. The room itself was large and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms do need updating and the staff know that.... more

The hotel is in NEED of a lot of maintenance - even the roof from the upper floors is leaking onto the entrace foyer floor - the dog water bowl to collect the drops does not hide the fact very well. We loved our four day stay at the Western Isles Hotel. Richard and Esplin are so friendly and welcoming. Our spacious room had a wonderful view and scads of hot water at all times for baths and showers.
