We dined here on the last night of our week-long stay on Mull and I have to say we both thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment about that. I thought a previous user's comment of somewhat pretentious was a bit harsh (in our opinion), as we found the owners very friendly. It was very quiet... More

The guest house is in a nice location, but far too expensive for the service received . The room had nice views but was rather small with a disappointingly small bed. although it was spotlessly clean. Excellent dining room and breakfast was good but frugal. The evening meal food was good but a little more vegetables would have been welcome... More

The service was pleasantly personal and thoughtful. We had a very comfortable ground floor bedroom with a good size ensuite with large shower with all amenities. The hotel was very clean and very comfortably and beautifully furnished. It had an excellent dining room downstairs and a most comfortable lounge upstairs overlooking a small hill where one could watch wild deer... More

The hotel and breakfast couldn't be faulted. Residents' lounge on first floor give wonderful views over the surrounding countryside, large room, spotlessly clean but ... ... as we planned to be busy during the day, we felt that pre-booking dinner in the hotel would save a lot of hassle - which it did. Most of our 5 evenings, we were... More

This was a great guesthouse - clean, spacious and with welcoming and friendly hosts. Every morning breakfast was cooked to perfection - I highly recommend the 'luxury' porridge with a hint of whiskey and cream! Our room was clean and comfortable, and on our second day we were surprised with a plate of homemade cake left for us in our... More

The bedroom is just as in the web: cute and sweet. Very tidy house. Champoo, bathing gel, etc. in the bathroom. Breakfast "á la carte". Tea/coffee facilities, chocolates, water in the bedroom. Good location. Anthony, a very nice and helphulf host. The B&B to be recommended. More

We spent a weekend at Killoran House and I can't praise the place highly enough. The room and food were first class. The service was discrete, friendly and efficient. To cap it all we got the place all to ourselves! It all added up to a truly fantastic experience. We'll definitely go again. More

This guest house/hotel is quite unusual. There is a very large and comfortable guest lounge on the first floor with a large verandah and good views - not unusual to see a few deer on the hill opposite. A good place to sit for pre-dinner drinks or to read a book on a wet afternoon. The bedroom we had was... More

We had a marvellous stay here. It had all the important ingredients - friendly, spotlessly clean, quiet, warm, comfortable beds and rooms, great food. The sitting room and computer room/ study were a great bonus with a library of books and DVDs. The location with wonderful walks and scenery, close to beautiful Calgary Bay is great for exploring unspoilt Mull.... More

Just back from a 2 night stay - weather was brilliant. Mull is a fantastic island with memorable views. I saw the hotel reviewed in the Scotsman over a year ago and booked up on the spur of the moment - I wasn't disappointed. Very warm and friendly service and a great peaceful location. We stayed in Eorsa which was... More
