Fabulous place to stay. Pam and Ron were great hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed their company. The breakfast was amazing. The bedrooms were large, with a well fitted out ensuite. It was great to have tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom and it was lovely to have a library / loungeroom to relax in. Easy access to Broadford and... more

My husband and I stayed just one night at Tir Alainn during a whistle stop tour of North West Scotland. We had stayed in many B&B's before and cannot really find fault with this one. We were welcomed by Ron with tea, biscuits and a pleasant conversation, given any information we required and shown to our room which was perfectly... more

Lovely accommodations where every little thing is thought of and provided for. Our hosts, Pam & Ron, gave us the 'Highlander Welcome' and did extra things for us, like drying our wet boots after hiking, loaning us hiking maps, and recommending trails to suit our interests. I loved the lounge for catching up on emails and reading. The breakfasts were... more

Professionally-run B & B. All facilities excellent. Dinner was of a high standard using local produce and beautifully served. Appreciated the warm welcome and the chance to converse with our host in the evening in the comfortable lounge. Plenty of choice for breakfast. more

After being warmly welcomed by Ron and Pam, I spent 2 nights at Tir Alainn on my first trip to Skye. The views from their house took my breath away instantly. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The food was excellent, with a choice of three types of cooked breakfasts, preceded by traditionally made porridge, and concluded with... more

We stayed with Ron and Pam for four nights and had a fantastic stay. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. The location is ideal with great views of the shore and mountains beyond. This gave us an excellent base to explore the whole of Skye. Breakfast had plenty of choice and both Pam and Ron went out of... more

A clean and friendly BandB. The room was basic, clean, cosy and comfortable. The welcome was generous and genuine. Lots of local knowledge and advice on offer. A very nice little beach about 10 mins walk from the front door. A panoramic view across the sea to the mountains from our window. I just couldn't understand how anyone could give... more

My wife and I spent one night at this bed & breakfast that we found via positive reviews on Trip Advisor. We would have stayed longer but Tir Alainn was booked up for the remainder of our allotted time. We were not disappointed with this choice. We first mention the scenic view of the Skye coastline, the rural setting and... more

Tir Alainn is an excellent base for exploring South Skye . Ron and Pam are warm and welcoming as well as being efficient and organised. Our room was clean and comfortable and included thoughtful touches such as binoculars and scrummy biscuits. The lounge was comfortable with a great view and an interesting selection of books about the area. Ron and... more
