Stayed Monday to Friday with a friend, two escaping Mums, each leaving four teenagers at home, and boy, what a tonic. Fabulous welcome with everything homemade by Rosemary, even the bread and jams. Cut glass, linen, siver and porcelain are the order of the day with stimulating conversation round the houseparty dinner table. Afternoon tea and breakfast in the conservatory... more

Spent two nights here, I wish it could have been longer. Rosemary and Donald are hugely welcoming and make you very comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are to a very high standard.
