Chosen because of previous good reports and not disappointed. The Bessants are very good hosts but unfortunately they are wanting to sell their business as the last of their five daughters will soon be off to university and they are ready for a different lifestyle. Stay while you still have the chance. more

We recently spent two nights at Kilmuir Park B&B in Dunvegan, on the Isle of Skye. Dunvegan is a small town with just a couple of hotels, a great little bakery and a string of B&Bs - but of course it also has Dunvegan Castle and Gardens, and some beautiful beaches, the Coral Beaches being a big attraction. Kilmuir Park... more

Lovely B&B just down the road from Dunvegan Castle. Very nice room with a great shower. Our hosts were very friendly and suggested a great little restaurant in Stein, the Lock Bay. Amazing seafood and the perfect crumble. We took a drive to Neist Point. The small winding road (prepare to see lots of sheep on and off the road!)... more

Kilmuir Park is placed in a fantastic area with a delicious panorama over surroding area. Room is essential but clear and has everything you want. Owner is very kind and polite person that let you feel as in your home. Breakfast was optimum and offers you what you want. more

We went to Skye primarily to eat at The Three Chimneys restaurant but couldn't afford to stay at their inn. We read that Kilmuir Park was recommended by them so we booked one night there. We were a little nervous driving up because it's on the main road and didn't look very big. It was much bigger than it looked... more

There are numerous B&Bs in this part of the world, ranging from the very basic with shared bathrooms to the luxury restaurant-with-rooms. Kilmuir park does not look much on its website, but is one of the best B&Bs I have stayed in. It is up to european hotel standards, and the prices charged reflect that as well, at 30pppn. The... more

Having been worked in the food industry for many years I was eager to pay a visit to the Three Chimneys restaurant which a chef friend of mine had been singing the praises of since she worked in Skye. It was the restaurant that recommended the Kilmuir Park as their own rooms were full. It turned out to be a... more

Dear Fiona17, I was delighted to read your review of Kilmuir Park B&B in Dunvegan village, approximately 10 minutes drive from The Three Chimneys at Colbost. We have recommended this B&B as an excellent place to stay within easy reach of the restaurant for many years - since the previous owners started the business, in fact! Readers may like to...

I can't reccommend this B&B more highly! The owners Agie and Gordon are wonderful and make you feel right at home. The rooms are impecably clean, comfortable and well decorated. It's also well situated for sightseeing in the area. If you're planning on going to Skye don't miss this super B&B! more
