This hostel is fine if you're a hiker or walker and you're used to basic youth hostel facilities.
It's quite an old building and the dorms are quite big, and there are no small rooms for couples.
It has a drying room and a laundry and the kitchen has everything you need for self catering. They don't sell much food at the reception, but down the road at the campsite shop they have a bigger selection.
The location is brilliant for walking in the Cuillin mountains, but you really need a car to get to it, as the buses only go as far as Carbost.
