Our stay at the Kiltaraglen House was wonderful! Rachel and Callum were welcoming, helpful, and catered to our dietary needs. The house itself has great character; very clean and charming! It is about a 15 minute walk from the village centre but the scenery around Portree is so stunning that it didn't matter! More

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Kiltaraglen House, and it was a great place to stay while visiting Skye. We had a very nice room on the top floor, with a view of the garden. Sloping ceiling made the room pleasant, but might not be suitable for someone who is very tall. The bathroom was fine, but only... More

We stayed 2 nights at Kiltaraglen House in September and enjoyed it very much. The house has a very warm and cozy feeling which we appreciated since it was cold and rainy! The sitting/breakfast room is very atmospheric with low wood beamed ceilings and a fireplace. Our room was very clean and cozy with a nice window area to sit... More

We have recently spent a week staying in The Garden Wing at Kiltaraglen House. Well, from the first moment of stepping inside the cottage, you can tell the place is AMAZING!! The greeting we received from Callum was first class, very welcoming, and on entering the cottage the place felt immediately homely, with the heating on, soft lighting, and the... More

Kiltaraglen house was definitely one of the most visually stunning places we stayed during our recent 3 week holiday in Scotland. Rachael and Callum were very welcoming hosts. Breakfast was really really nice and the house was just warm and ... nice! My friend and I stayed in a twin room with a private bathroom. The room was large, probably... More

We could not have had a better stay than at Kiltara Glen - the owners go out of their way to give their guests a fantastic stay, from the array of lotions in the bathrooms to the freshly-prepared strawberries and other fruit at breakfast. Friendly, relaxed, welcoming. What more could one ask for? My wife and I and our teenage... More

This was the most amazing place I have stayed on any vacation. My fiance and I stayed in the self-catering annexe, which has a separate entrance from the b&b. I cannot express how much I loved this place. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the place was nicely decorated, modern and very clean. Linens were provided, and it was very... More

What sets Kiltaraglen House apart from other B&Bs is its genuine hospitality and feeling of being a home from home the moment you walk in. Callum & Rachel couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable and the breakfasts were very delicious. Comfy bedroom, well equipped bathroom and quiet, attractive gardens which spilled out into open fields meant we could... More

My wife and I stayed at Kiltaraglen House for two nights, the first weekend in August. We'd found the B&B through VisitScotland.com and then read various "TripAdvisor" entries all of which were very positive. We then sent email to Pam and reserved two nights. She indicated that her son Calum and his girlfriend Rachel would be "holding down the fort"... More

From the wecome we received from Rachel, to the fantastic house and wonderful breakfast we cannot recommend this enough. The cottage is warm and welcoming and it felt like a home away from home. Rachel and Callum were lovely hosts and they cook the most amazing breakfasts. There was a wealth of maps and infomation in the cottage available for... More
