Myself & a colleague stayed here for one night as we had business in Portree. The staff are very friendly & helpful & the rooms were spotlessly clean. The shower in the bathroom was incredible! So powerful & hot that I was tempted to stay in it for ages! We never ate in the hotel in the evening as we... More

We stayed here overnight as part of our trip with Norwegian friends. We had a detailed location map, but as we were in a mini-bus it was difficult to find. The sign over the entrance, on a main road through the town, was not adequately visible and led up 4 flights of stairs to reception. There I found out that... More

This is basic, good value (for Portree) accomodation, the rooms are very clean (but dated) and the staff very friendly, helpful and informative. Top marks for service. The shower is great, the only criticism I would have is the bed wasn't that comfortable (a bit springy but I still slept ok). Breakfast was great. I would stay here again based... More

The location could not be better, but the hotel is a bit shabby both inside and out. If you enter from the front entrance, you will climb 2 flights of long, narrow, spiral staircases to reach the reception area and main salon. There is a rear entrance (off of the car park) that is one flight up, but is only... More

Very town centre. Amongst the shops/restaurants and minutes from a supermarket. Almost next to the sea/harbour road. Bar/restaurant on site. Comfortable and welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Free wifi. Helpful people.Trips to see the Sea Eagles are organised from there.Would not hesitate to go again. Go there. More

Stayed here overnight during a driving tour of Scotland. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Managers and staff were extremely friendly and helpful regarding things to do whilst on Skye. A hearty full breakfast is served and the food was of very good quality. The bar is beneath the accommodation area, but is very small and closes early...noise was not... More

We stayed one night here as planned. The place was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good too. The downside is that you'll possibly get awoken by drunken revellers in the street down below for several hours (we stayed at the weekend) as its in the centre of the small town. Also the bedrooms...
