We stayed at Balloch B+B for a 2-night stay July 3-4, 2008. Rooms are clean, well maintained , however a bit small and showing their age. The B+B offers free Wireless Internet and computer access. Walking distance (15 min) to downtown Portree. Good breakfast. A 3.5-star place more

Although Portree is a small place, the Balloch Bed & Breakfast is a good 10-15 minute walk from the centre; not a problem if the weather is good, but very unpleasant when it is wet. My husband and I stayed 2 nights in this lovely guest house on the Isle of Skye. Our room was average size but the bathroom was tiny (about the size of an aeroplane toilet!).
