Braeside is a little gem on Stormy Hill, Portree. It has a friendly atmosphere and the proprietors are welcoming and happy to give advice about the area. Very nice, clean and quiet. Rooms do not lock from the outside, be prepared to lock your suitcases each time you leave your room. Breakfast is good. had a wonderful stress free time at this B&B. Phil was there when needed and was very helpful . When I phoned to book Phil said that the stairs leading to the bedrooms was steep and may not be very good for anyone who was disabled or infirm, well my friend Lily who is 78 years young managed no problems.... more
