Very professional from reservation to departure. Pleasant spacious room with views (though skimped on wardrobe space) and very comfortable lounge area, with open fire. Restaurant was quite superb - though a minor glitsch on wine service meant a less-than-perfect score. You can get here by bus (will stop at the door) which is a bonus. more

Spent 2 nights at Toravaig in July 2009 as part of a big tour of Scotland. The rooms are not as large as could be, but otherwise the place is wonderful. My wife booked us into The Toravaig Hotel in Sleat on the Island of Skye as a surprise Birthday present; I had mentioned the hotel to her many times before, I had seen advertised the fact that they had a magnificent yacht to be sailed in the around the west coast.
