Grand Tour of Scotland2008::

We just returned from 9 days touring Scotland staying in several BnBs. The Anchorage had a spectacular view from our room (and the common room) of MacLeod's tables and the Loch. There were seals playing in the water and lovely seabirds. We walked the quiet streets with the house dog and her doggie friend, Mac, and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Don't miss JJ's Bistro down the way for dinner - especially if you are a vegetarian. The Anchorage was very clean and the breakfast was great including a wide variety of homemade preserves. We were only minutes from Dunvegan Castle and Portree. Our hostess was gracious and welcoming and I would love to visit again. more
