A five star service for a very reasonable price, 5 minutes drive from the ferry terminal and the Uig Hotel and Ferry Inn for evening meals. Location, service, breakfast, rooms, cleanliness, decor, all 10 out of 10! There is absolutely nothing to detract from this comfortable, enjoyable, and relaxing stay! I can confidently recommend it. more
We stayed a single night at Carnbeag, as a stop-off before getting the ferry to Harris, and we can recommend it without reservation. We stayed one night at Carn Beag in August and have nothing but praise for the establishment - spotlessly clean, well presented, super breakfast, friendly owner. Can't fault it and will certainly return next time we visit Uig. more

they were rude, and threatening towards me and my wife after we had to check out early, due to an emergency; we knew we would have to pay for the short time we stayed there, but was not expected to be charged for the full night there; PEOPLE - STAY AWAY FROM CARNBEAG BED AND BREAKFAST more
The owners of Carnbeag B&B were certainly not rude nor were they threatening towards these guests. The two guests in question booked in after lunch for one night and were to catch the ferry to the western isles the next morning.
