We stayed on way back from Skye. Was further from ferry and other facilities tan name implies. It was ok but nothing special. It was lacking in atmosphere ,but room was fine and bathroom very clean and recently refurbished. Food was ok too quiet in dining room .

Read a few positive reviews of the Ferry Inn which made me foolishly believe it had undergone a dramatic change in the past few years since i vowed to never return.Possibly a change of ownership or management, but good god no! I have travelled extensively throughout the U.K and never found such a a hole run so badly by eejits... More

Contrary to other posted reviews on this hotel the 4 of us have just spent 2 nights here and could not think of a negative comment to post. Our rooms were immaculately clean. Our room (3) had a lovely view over the bay, which at night looked stunning when the Pier was all lit. Our mothers shared the twin room... More

We were off to Uist mid March and thought an overnight in Uig with an early Ferry in the morning would be just the ticket. Checking Tripadvisor, we thought The Ferry Inn would be fine. It is a bit expensive at £78, although that seems to be about the norm in the area. We arrived early evening. The Inn was... More

we were told£80 for a double room, the room was basic to say the least. Breakfast is continental, the meats just an aldi pack of garlic sausage, looked as if theyhad been left out for a month. Breakfast between 8/8.30am no time at all. We checked our bill, they added £10.00 to the room rate.

Stayed here in August of 2012. Arrived on a gloriously sunny afternoon to be met by a grumpy woman in reception. It almost felt like being back at school as the answers to our questions were barked back at us. Lovely room at the back of the hotel overlooking a wonderful selction of plants/shrubbery. We ate in the hotel that... More

Had the back room over looking the hillside. Dont be put off, it may sounds like a poor relation to the sea view rooms. But it was very good. Lovely room with nice view. The restaurant food is great as well. Service excellent.

We didn't stay here, we only ate. The food was of average quality, I would have been happy with the meal if I had payed £6.99 for it in a Brewers Fayre or something like that. So paying nearly £15 for it was a sting. All the food here is overpriced and only very marginally better than what you can... More

Very overpriced menu and a cheap dining environment, from the imitation electric plastic candle ( how romantic ) to the cheap dinnerware. The people who served us had no clue about the menu options and it was a challenge to obtain more than three words from them. Food i would rate as just scrapping ok i would expect more again... More
