Travelodge are a very basic, no frills hotel chain trying to save money for themselves wherever possible and you can tell. Room was clean but extremely boring and basic. Travelodge Livingston is a great hotel that is very close to Edinburgh. The hotel is new and the rooms are very comfortable, clean and quiet. This seems to be a fairly new Travelodge on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We were visiting family for a short time and were very pleased. The room we had was with a double bed and couch bed, bath/shower and tv, ppv movies, tea/coffee making although no hairdryer, fridge or iron in room. Rooms were cleaned daily and staff helpful.
