i was very surprised there werent any telephones . over here in texas there is a telephone in every hotel . and no refridgerator , or microwave . it was depressing . more

Travelodge are a very basic, no frills hotel chain trying to save money for themselves wherever possible and you can tell. Room was clean but extremely boring and basic. Travelodge Livingston is a great hotel that is very close to Edinburgh. The hotel is new and the rooms are very comfortable, clean and quiet. The location within Livingston is approximately 10 minutes from the motorway, but near lots of shopping (2nd largest ASDA in the UK) and many restaurants. This seems to be a fairly new Travelodge on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We were visiting family for a short time and were very pleased. The room we had was with a double bed and couch bed, bath/shower and tv, ppv movies, tea/coffee making although no hairdryer, fridge or iron in room. Rooms were cleaned daily and staff helpful.
