While we only stayed the one night at Clunie Lodge - it was as good as it had been described. At the end of a longish driveway it has a fantastic outlook of the surrounding area, and is very quiet. Located in what was the old Vicars House, it's wonderfully presented example of what we thought a real B&B should... more

Great guest house, couple of minutes walk from Braemar. Comfortable room with new chockie biscuits in the hospitality tray everyday. Owners very helpful with local information and advice. Breakfasts were very good. Only downside was only council telly available in the room. more

Smashing propery in an excellent postion with good sized rooms. Curteous and friendly hosts provided a great breakfast. Bedroom furnishings are getting a little dated and if these were renewed, this place could easily come up to 4-star standard. Much better than Craiglea which we also stayed in for one night. more

Clunie lodge is a beautiful Victorian house with stunning views across the valley to the heather-clad hills beyond. The owners, David and Karen, are welcoming, friendly and helpful, with lots of useful information about places to eat, walks and other activities. The rooms are in a well-maintained period style. We have stayed in rooms 1 and 2, which are on... more
