This was our first stop of a long trip in Scotland and the only really poor accommodation. The room looked as though it had been badly decorated in 1971. The stair carpet had tape holding it together & there was no hot water. The breakfast was OK, but instant coffee. This place does Scotland no favours. more

Stayed for a weekend in March and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Inn is in a lovely spot on Loch Fyne and is a good location for exploring Argyll, only a couple of hours from Glasgow. I have stayed with cairndow several times and each stay as good as the last, i stayed on the 12th September in the new rooms and they are perfect!! Modern well equipted 1 minor glitch tho, someone forgot to turn the solour panel on for the hot water (good to see they are doing there bit to save the planet)... more
