I totally concur with the other reviews of Thistle House. We stayed there in November 2006 for three nights, and hated to leave. It was attractively decorated and comfortable, and the hosts Paul and Yvonne gracious and accommodating. The area of Scotland is beautiful, and a good location for touring both westward to the isles or north to the Highlands.... more

On the banks of Loch Fyne, this guest house is beautiful. We paid for the honeymoon suite and it was fantastic. Paul and Yvonne recommended dinner at Inver Cottage which was informal and lovely and well priced. we would gladly stay here again more
