This was our last stop on the WHW. With Kinlochleven already a bit depressing I was expecting a warm welcome in a cosy house (the pictures look nice). The experience was a bit disappointing: with "Elsie" obviously not available "the man" spend about two minutes explaining the facilities, handing us the key and gone he was. He didn´t really like... more

For starters if this is your destination after the end of a long day on the West Highland Way then it’s a wee bit out of the way and you are rewarded with a long walk back into town to the pub for a meal. The welcome was absolutely appalling we were ‘greeted’ by a very abrupt young man (who... more

We stayed whilst on the WHW. Couldn't have asked for any more - exceptionally clean but a bit too many frills for my liking. Breakfast was great. more

I was staying here just one night and I’m glad that’s all. However, do not take this as meaning this is a poor B&B – it’s not. I had a twin room, which was very comfortable. The bed itself was great, not too soft and not too hard. There were tea and coffee making facilities. The décor was not quite... more

We stayed one night while walking the WHW. We had a very small en-suite room on the second floor. The queen size bed was very comfortable and towels good. A queen size bed was a treat at this point of our trip - we have a king size at home and have some trouble sleeping in a double which is... more

Indeed, This is one of the best B&B's we have stayed at, ever! The owners are very friendly. They thought about everything, every detail really: footbath, dryroom, conditioner etc. Our room was at the top floor - gorgeous view from the window. Beautifully decorated, we felt so relaxed welcomed there. The breakfast is just superb: so much choice - the... more

Edencoille Guest House is slightly off the West Highland Way but well worth the extra few steps. Our room was lovely and had a very spacious ensuite. There seem to be ornaments or soft toys and frills everwhere. Glad I'm not dusting though! Although not my taste, seem to be suit this b&b. Their website says they do evening dinner... more

I stayed in Edencoille B&B whilst walking the West Highland Way in June 2009. I had been unable to book into King's House in Glencoe and was picked up by Drew Robertson, the proprietor of Edencoille and driven back in the morning by his wife Elsie. They are two of the nicest people I met in a week's walking and... more

It’s hard to know how to describe this place. Brilliant and bizarre both work. The house is extremely comfortable, and the hosts friendly and professional. The décor is not to everyone’s taste – more figurines you will never see – but impeccably kept. We had a superb view from our room across the valley, and a huge bathroom. Dinner, breakfast,... more

We arrived late, soaked through and exhausted! The owners couldn`t have been any nicer! Drew ran us to the chippie for food whilst his wife made coffee and looked after one of our party who was feeling poorly. We were made to feel very welcome and the rooms were spotless-they even had teddy bears on the beds! The breakfast has to be... more
