Heatherbank has got it all. Great hosts, delicious breakfasts with home made jams and marmalade, amazing scenery, wildlife galore. Each night on the way back from our dinner... More

We loved staying with Pippa and John who worked very hard to make everything perfect. Within minutes of arriving Pippa presented us with delicious homemade cakes and fresh milk for our tea tray. The house is in a beautiful setting with excellent views, especially from the breakfast room. Outside the window we could watch finches feeding on the bird tables... More

I stayed at Heatherbank in September 2010 while on a walking holiday with friends. Pippa and John were perfect hosts, welcoming and helpful, the rooms were spotless pleasant and comfortable and the breakfasts as good as I have eaten anywhere. Ardnamurchan is low on visitors and high on tranquillity compared to the Glencoe and Ben Nevis hotspots, if you want... More

Off the beaten track yet convenient for the pretty village of Strontian and other tourist sites nearby, this was a very nice place to stay. We had a warm welcome, a comfortable room and a most delicious breakfast. It was a nice surprise to find a cosy fire in the log stove at breakfast (yes it was a chilly morning... More
