We have just returned from a two night 'hotel deal' stay at An Lochan. What a delightful place. The seaview from our bedroom is just magical. You can watch the moon rise over the loch in total comfort whilst waiting to make your way down for dinner. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The room... more

Beautiful part of the world and a great setting, good views with relative peace and quiet. The owners were there when we were and they are two complete opposites - he is charming and she is cold and impersonal. The dining rooms are to the front and are pretty boring and featureless, no atmosphere, but saved by what is good... more

We stayed for our 14th anniversary. Having read reviews we were wary of the price of the food and some of the amenities. I am delighted to say that we had our best ever hotel experience. The service was excellent throughout our stay, friendly and efficient, and the reception was exceptional. Complimentary afternoon tea with homebaking was just what we... more

The food here is fabulous. We stayed on a DBB and package and felt like it was good value for money in light of the quality of the food. Our room was great too, with a fabulous view. We ahve already recommended it to several people and are going to try the Perthshire Inn next. more

had a lovely wee break at an lochan tighnabruich. we will definately return, however, just one or two things that were a little off putting. the bathroom was incredibly shabby, more than a lick of paint needed !! the silicone around the bath was full of black mould and the rubber slip mat in the bath had seen better days.... more

The Chairman of the company my father and I both work for, took my father and mother to this hotel as a special treat and at the end of their stay, they were given a discount card for a return visit. I took advantage of this card having the same name as my father and booked my girlfriend and I... more

We stayed here at the Easter break and absolutely loved it. Although it looks from the outside like it's going to be another chintzy Highland hotel, inside is smart and stylish with fantastic bedrooms. We had one on the first floor with an amazing view over the Kyles of Bute. Lots of nice toileteries and bathrobes, as well as a... more

Stayed for two nights DBB at the beginning of May. John on ‘Front of House’ was very friendly – happy to answer any questions and make your stay as relaxing as possible. The food was delicious. If you are after gastro pub food then this is not for you but the tastes and presentation were the best I have savoured... more
