Warm welcome, lovely room, great breakfast and roaring fire in sitting room, what's not to love? We had a huge room on the ground floor. It was split into three distinct parts: the bay window where we sat in armchairs and admired the snow covered hills, the sitting area with couch and TV and the huge bed in the recessed... More

Had a fantastic weekend at Munro's and can only recommend it. We were very well looked after by the owners and the whole place has a very welcoming and warm feel to it. The tasty breakfast was served in the conservatory with fantastic sea views. Our room was very spacious, nicely decorated and the bay window was great to enjoy... More

The owners were very friendly, welcoming and informative about the local area. The rooms are perfectly sized and clean with everything you would want. There was a great selection to choose from for breakfast, with a beautiful view overlooking the mainland from the dining room. The log fire in the living room was a nice touch with an excellent selection... More

Munro's exhibits a Tripadvisor 'Best Rothesay B&B' certificate in the hall. It's as well to bear in mind that the level achieved is in comparison to other Rothesay B&B and not an indication of meeting a national standard. Munro's is situated up a hill on the fringe of Rothesay and it is a fair hike to/from the town centre if... More

That’s not to say the welcome is over-familiar; just friendly, warm and relaxing. Everything was fine; the weather, the food (including fresh drop-scones!) and the company. Many thanks to the hosts Joan and... More

We got this on a 5pm offer - 2 nights. Had great big room at the front of the house with fantastic views over the bay, room comfortable, freshly and well decorated and furnished. Lovely breakfasts in the conservatory with more great views. Very nice relaxed b&b with welcoming owners. Would recommend. More
