We only stayed here for the 1 night as we were travelling onto Malaysia, but it was a lovely start to our holiday. We were greeted in an extremely friendly manner on arrival, and informed that as the hotel was not totally full, we had been upgraded to a bigger room with a better view, and boy what a view!... more
I and 5 friends stayed there at the start of August. we found it to be in a good location with nice sea view (if you get sea view room), clean rooms and nice brekfast. I will use the hotel again in the future. more

Excellent hotel, with wonderful food, in a lovely location. The staff were very accommodating and it was great value for money. We stayed 3 nights, with dinner, bed and breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty of pubs nearby and a great view. Why stay anywhere else? more

The Isle of Bute is in a beautiful area of Scotland and Rothesay is on the way up. On my first visit several years ago it was looking quite seedy but the various tourist authorities have spent big bucks upgrading the area and it is looking good now.
