On the plus side, the food was excellent, and the view superb. Disagree with "Better than Gleneagles" on brochure. No fruit or water in room as promised in brochure. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are all very friendly and you get excellent personal attention. Rooms and food very good with a good choice of traditional scottish fare as well as other equally tasty options. more

We were married at Rothesay Castle on 4th April this year, and had our reception at Chandlers. Poor quality hotel. Amateur service. Table D' Hote menu the same each night ( three nights ). Bedroom not very clean and light bulbs missing. Bed covered in TWELVE cushions Brochure quote " Better than Gleneagles" , who are they kidding!! Will not return more
