Great homely pub. Busy, perfect atmosphere. Some great real ales on hand pull - "Peter Well" was a crisp clean pint. Comfy sofas, log fire, tasty food and fantastic view. When passing next time I will be sure to call in. Make sure you book or you will be disappointed when turned away.

We stopped here for lunch at the weekend as we were staying in a hotel nearby. We enjoyed it so much, we went back for dinner and stayed there till closing, the food was out of this world, staff were very friendly. The next time i visit the area i will def be staying in this hotel!
