Booked for one night on our tour of the Western Isles of Scotland but wish we had booked two. Excellent welcome. Sherry and chocolates for us, treats for the dogs. Comfortable and spacious room with all you could think of provided. From shoe shine to manicure set. What ever you forget, you'll find it in the room. Fabulous view of... more

Arrochar was our first stop on our girls highland tour, and what a lovely little gem the burnbrea is. My friend and I were made very welcome indeed. The room was lovely and very clean, and has a great view of loch long. I particularly liked the attention to detail including sherry and chocolates in the room. We also enjoyed... more

Home from home! We first visited in February and soon returned having enjoyed our first stay so much. A great base from which to go walking (Janice even came up with a print out of the daily weather report) or to simply chill out. There's everything you could possibly need in the spacious rooms, including a fantastic view of the... more

My partner and I stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip north. How we wish we had spent the whole trip here. i always like to know if I am going to get good nights sleep when I go away as this will always set me up for the following day. The bed is massive, the... more

From the moment we arrived at the Burnbrae, we knew that we had struck lucky. The warm welcome we received, the lulling sound of the babbling stream next to the property, the view of the loch and the Arrochar Alps from our bedroom window and the exceptional quality of our bedroom were early indicators that we were set for an... more

Great B&B as one review said home away from home. You can tell that the owners are very proud of their business and those small details make every difference (there's about 7 choices of mustard for breakfast!). There's a cd player which you can play the relaxing 'sounds of scotland'. We only stayed one night but would have been nice... more

Burnbrae well deserves its excellent reputation on the basis of the warm welcome from Janice and Gordon and all the little touches they put into making this place feel like a real home from home. Every little thing is thought about from... more

This is a fab little place to stay, you are made so welcome. The room was spotless and if you forgotten anything it could be found in your room down to a toothbrush and razor. Little dish of sweeties and sherry to welcome you as well. Breakfast was superb, a full Scottish including haggis. We ate next door in the... more
