I spent a night in room 2 (carriage 2 as it is named) in early October and was treated to a room with a window that would not shut. The explanation given on check out was that the window frame swelled up when it rained...... which is just great when you have had no sleep due to a howling gale all night and wake up in a freezing cold room. There is also apparently a special technique to flush the toilet which I was not informed of on arrival, which can make your stay awkward to say the least.

Breakfast was decent, but would not stay again. more
