We stayed at the Gowanlea for 3 nights and were instantly welcomed by Andrea who was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to assist us during our stay. Just back from a wee overnight stay at the Gowanlea guest house. Received a lovely warm welcome and a cuppa from Andrea. The rooms were lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed and good size en suite with lovely toiletries. Had the full Scottish breakfast in morning which was superb. Would highly recommend the Gowanlea. Great value for money.

We stayed for 2 days and I must say that I was very impressed! Great location, luxurious rooms and very tasty breakfast. We spent a couple of days cycling around the loch and had an amazing time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a very reasonable price.

We stayed here just one night and had no complaints at all. We were greeted by Andrea and shown to our room. It was a family room, rather small but very clean and comfortable. Visited balloch 1wkend had an overnight stay real friendly welcome from the minute we arrived til we left on the Sunday the hostesses were very helpful when it ,came for us to find somewhere local to have our dinner didnt go far as it was pouring with rain in all a good nights stay
