The Old Church is just off the West Highland Way near to Tyndrum. We chose it as an ideal base to do some 'munro bagging' with Ben Lui and Ben Oss being two of the main objectives. We turned up sopping wet and were cordially greeted by Mabel who took our wet wether gear off us to dry, and then... more

Found this place by accident and very glad we did. Extremely friendly, fabulous food and company. Mabel went beyond the call of duty when she found a ring that my son thought he had lost for good. Found us in Australia with a Bruthen near Melbourne address when in fact we live four hours away. This ring had great sentimental... more

Just off the West Highland Way, this is a lovely B&B with a warm welcome from Mabel. The house is spacious and there is room for drying wet clothes and boots. The breakfasts are excellent, with a choice of local trout, smoked salmon and scrambled egg or full Scottish breakfast. There was also home baking. Very good packed lunches are... more

We found the Old Church B & B late in the day, and were so fortunate that the Ronalds were able to accommodate our party with two beautiful, and immaculately clean bedrooms. We heard a rushing stream behind their home, and walked along the footpath in the woods next to the stream until 10:00 p.m. We found gorgeous falls and... more

I was just so impressed with Mabel Ronald and the Old Church. Breakfast was fantastic - she has her own chickens, so the eggs are fresh, she makes her own marmalade! My husband had a trout for breakfast! And she got up early to accommodate our schedule. When we got there she offered us tea & juice which also came... more

Very friendly and warm welcome. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfy (must have been an expensive matrress), the bathroom luxurious. We were even given a an anti-midge spray when we went for a walk and the breakfast ... Well, when do you get fresh, locally caught trout for breakfast ? Delicious ! Probably the best B&B... more

I always stay at The Old Church at Dalrigh when I visit Tyndrum. It's a delightful Bed & Breakfast place set in peaceful surroundings just outside the village and right on the West Highland Way. I have stayed there several times and have always enjoyed wonderful hospitality and a warm Scottish welcome. It's a fine old building with splendid rooms... more
