We visited the cottage for a few days to relax and unwind, we couldn’t have asked for more. The owner is very welcoming and helpful, pointing out good places to eat etc. It’s in a brilliant location for exploring the region. The facilities in the cottage are great especially the Jacuzzi bath and Sauna. We woke up to dear in... More

Stayed as a couple for one night in February 2013,and we were very impressed with the whole experience. From the welcome from the proprietor, which included a few nice touches like the Valentines chocolates, to the very well equipped accommodation in secluded but accessible surroundings, everything was perfect at a very competitive price. Highly recommended.

Stayed at this lovely cottage just after Easter 2012, whenever i book any accomadation i always read reviews here on trip advisor to get a feel for what i am booking as i am a very fussy and picky person. All i can say is none of the reviews do this place justice, we had the most wonderfull few days... More

We stayed here with our son and his girlfriend and were not disappointed. I cooked during our stay and the kitchen was very well equipped. Rooms were nice and sauna was a welcome touch of luxury. Very secluded area within reasonable walking distance of town with magnificent butcher. Owner clearly takes pride in his premises and was very welcoming but... More

We are a couple aged 26 and 27 who were looking for a relaxing break. We stayed here for 3 nights in June 2011. The area is very secluded, but lovely. There are 3 cottages in total each with their own drive way. The garden is lovely and looks straight out onto the forest literally a few steps away. The... More

We had a perfect weekend - every consideration for comfort had been provided. James is a fount of local knowledge and advice. The lovely gentle welcome and the little kindnesses made us feel special and pampered. Very peaceful, tranquil and off the beaten track - a pleasant walk (maybe half a mile?) to the pub and there's a good taxi... More

We are just back from a one night stay at the Foxglove Cottages and are so relaxed we feel as though we have been away for a week! The cottage was outstanding in every way from decor to facilities. Everything has been thought of; games, dvds, sky sports and movies, a kitchen that truly has everything you could want and... More

Stayed here in October 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything about the place was well thought out - easy to find, great setting, loads of useful information, very peaceful, very child friendly with loads of things to do if (when) it rains - and a sauna. As we were arriving a baby deer ran across the path - a lovely... More

Don't be put off with first impressions of the outside. Inside is absolutely stunning. Very clean, warm and cosy. Sun from morning to night in the decking area. Kitchen fully equiped. Quiet and peaceful. Everything in this cottage was to a high standard. Excellent for adults and couples. Reluctant to take children as you would constantly be on edge in... More

Just returned from what was going to be two nights at Foxglove Cottages to end our busy but wonderful tour of the Highlands and Islands of Sctotland. Had to book a third night, it was just so relaxing. We were lucky enough to have the first day on our own as the other 2 lodges (they aren't cottages) were empty... More
