Not only was I double booked after pre-booking with Hostel Bookers. I was offered the "Yurt" (polythene gazeebo with walls) in the overgrown scrapyard that passes as the grounds of the cottage... It would appear that cleaning is never carried out at this place and has not been done for some considerable time... I won't be back more

I've been to many hostels around the world and this is one of the worst!! Even though this had been booked months in advance for a wedding party, there was still double booking. This place needs a serious amount of organization. We've stayed in a large group twice now for sole use and both times have been double booked, which does lead to uncomfortable situations. the owner can be difficult. The hostel is in a good location but there is so much junk lying around and no worktop space in the kitchen due... more
