I'm writing this on behalf of my parents who stayed at the hotel for a night in February as they don't have tripadvisor. Very friendly staff, very homely and comfortable but modern at the same time. Food was very good although starters were small. Breakfast in particular was tasty. More

Had an overnight stay here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, both at reception and in the bar/restaurant. The room was large and had a lovely en suite bathroom with an excellent powerful shower. Complimentary bottled water was a nice touch, great when you wake up during the night. Stayed here on a bleak Monday in January 2012, but the service more than made up for it. Great sized room, with a lovely on-suite. Stayed in the hotel for our evening meal, and it was superb! Really must recommend, and we will be back when it's a bit warmer. More
