After visiting this hotel last year to eat we stayed overnight on our return home from friends, the place is wonderful with stunning views and great food. The welcome was great and the room wonderful the food was as last time excellent will return again.

Stayed at the hotel back in the late sixties and returned again last year. Enjoyed it then and still enjoy it now. Will definitley be returning this year. Excellent food, accomodation and wonerfull scenery.

have stayed here a few times while on a biking trip through Scotland, very friendly, good food and safe undercover parking for the motorbikes, a cosy bar with friendly locals and a good selection of beers and malts.

We chose this hotel from tripadvisor but were a bit wary of the 2 stars. Don't go if toyu are looking for hairdryers, chocs on the pillow, and box ticking credentials. Do go for warm, comfortable rooms, good food and helpful hosts.

Once again Robert and Amanda showed themselves to be the most welcoming of hoteliers. Top location, immaculately clean, excellent breakfast and dinner. What can I say? Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
