We have just returned from a five day stay at the Lochgoilhead Hotel and would recommend it as a great value for money hotel.
The room was modern and kept spotlessly clean with wonderful views over the loch. The staff and Manageress were friendly and helpfull. The home cooked breakfast was just the thing to set you up for the day and the food on an evening was honest home cooked fare, served in either the bar or the restraunt. The free use of the pool sauna and jacuzzi was an added bonus. My wife had a half day pamper session at the beauty parlour and said she would recommend it as the beautician was the friendliest she had ever met and made her relax immediately.
We learned that the hotel is due to go through a refurbishment this winter and unfortunatley the manageress is leaving.
We will be returning next year to see how it has gone.
Would recommend this hotel for those looking for a value for money get away from it all break. more
