I went with two of my friends who are a married couple, and the owner Patrick has given us two rooms next to each other in the main house. Both rooms overlook the lochside and have beautiful scenery - especially the sunrise, simply stunning! All the facilities you might need was there, the rooms were clean, comfortable and well kept.... We stayed at the Culag Lochside Guest House for two nights. My daughter immediately felt at home. It is a beautiful location with walking trails located right near the gate of the guest house. The breakfasts were fabulous and Patrick and his family make you feel right at home. Our room was wonderful. I would stay there again! More

This was a return trip to Culag - once you have been welcomed by Patrick and his Irish charm you won't go anywhere else! Add to this the most stunning location right on the shores of Loch Lomond and homely B&B accommodation with everything you need, the only thing to do is chill and watch the world go by. More

There was a large group of us staying here for a family wedding nearby. Patrick & his wife are so welcoming & helpful, nothing was too much trouble, even a free lift to the wedding for 12 of us. The breakfast was great & plentiful. The bride had organised a BBQ at Culag for the next day, which again was... More

The location of this B&B on Loch Lomond is great, though isolated. The owners are very welcoming, breakfast was good but sourcing an evening meal down in Luss was only reasonable - probably a rating of 4 ouf of 10 - suggested by the B&B. The town of Luss was splendid in the bright sunshine and a real surprise. We... More

Excellent stay! The bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful. The Culag Lochside Guest House is very conveniently located close to places like Balloch and Luss. The view of Loch Lomond is amazing and so restful. The staff were very welcoming but in no way intrusive. We'll certainly pay a return visit if we're in... More

Amazing location, the loch looked as beautiful in the rain as it did in the sun! Waking up to the views was wonderful, and the warm and friendly service was fantastic. A most hospitable place. We found loads to do, from a trip on the sea plane to swimming off inchmurrin island, water zorbing at Balloch, speedboats and slate mines... More
