Returned late April from The Royal, Tyndrum with Highland Heritage on a 5 day 4 night break. Our pick up point was South Shields and fortunately for us we were 2nd last so time for pick up was 10.20, onward to Newcastle for last pick up then on to Otterburn for transfer to our main coach. We stayed in Otterburn... More

The best holiday we have had in a very long time, the staff and hotel where better than top class, the food was the best I have had, I am trying to pick the best meal of the stay, I think the venison was the best by a short head my wife says she can not chose as it was... More

You book this holiday as 5 days and 4 nights, it should be sold under 4 nights and 3 days. When you board the coach at 10.00 am, you don't arrive at your hotel until about 7.45 am. You are welcomed by the hotel manager, who told you what would happen over the next few days, bit like a boot... More

Having read previous reviews we knew what to expect. We did find the manager very good and has a good sense of humour and did his fair share of serving in the dining room. The meals were good and plentiful with a good choice. There was a hearty breakfast every morning porridge/cereals/fruit juices followed by a cooked breakfast. We did feel that the meals... If you want to retrace your horrible days at school, this is the hotel for you!!! I ignored the bad reviews on this site and regretted it before I even got on the coach! the hotel is managed by an arrogant rude Romanian who is full of his own self importance! He is obsessed with sanitizing your hands. The stuff... More

I shall definitely be heeding the words "you get what you pay for" in future. Where to begin? We arrived for our "Scottish" experience on the coach and were piped in and welcomed by a Romanian hotel manager wearing a kilt. Not ONE member of staff was from Scotland and so we are baffled as to how it can be... More

First coach trip to Scotland and it was very well organised, with excellent service throughout, our driver/courier had us in stitches with his wit and yet he was very informative of the areas we visited.Being this organised meant it was very regimented especially in the dining area and you weren't able to enjoy the hotel and it's surroundings, through lack... My partner and I went on a five day holiday to the Royal Hotel through Highland Heritage, and had a brilliant time. We had no worries about our luggage because once it was put on the feeder coach at Liverpool we didn't see them again until we got to our room in the hotel, even when we crossed over from... More

well another trip to Scotland and the best yet. We went by Highland Herritage and had a supper time, it started by a warm welcome on the coach by the hotel manager who was warm and friendly along with his staff and lasted all week. The food was great too. The hotel and general trip did have some issues but... More
