My wife and I stayed here as part of our journey along the West Highland Way. We were made to feel very welcome after our 19 mile hike from Inversnaid. The accomodation and service is superb but the star of the show is the food. I can honestly say I have stayed in 5 star hotels that cannot match the... more

Great Place, We stayed only one night which was a shame. The short walk down the A82 was unpleasant but it was well worth it. A very warm welcome. Andy and Ellen run the B&B as a place they would like to visit and it shows. When you stay opt in for the evening meal which after a fews days... more

Stayed here only one night (sob!), but it was perfectly placed, as after it we had our longest day at 19 miles! Andy and Ellen are lovely people, they have Enfields and cats! And some wandering hens in the yard...The house is in top order, clean, freshly decorated, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is to die... more

We received a fantastic welcome with a much-needed coffee and brownie. The dinner was great and a real treat after 3 nights of pub grub. Service was fabulous and nothing too much trouble with the host driving another couple staying into town to buy wine and running some late arrivals down to the pub. Bedroom, dining are and lovely conservatory... more

When we arrive, Ellen greeted us and made us "a brew" with home made flapjack. Her and Andy's hospitality was second to none. The bedrooms were exceptionally clean, the bed exceptionally comfy, the shower and toilet just perfect. As we were half way through our walk we needed some washing done, Ellen did this at a very reasonable cost and... more

We stayed in the self catering lodge (situated on the hill behind the B&B) and were travel weary when we arrived, to a warm and friendly welcome from Ellen & Andy. What a surprise to find cake awaiting us on the table in the lodge as a welcome and milk in the fridge, so we could make a cup of... more

We arrived after a very damp day and received a warm welcome - homemade flapjack and tea was perfect. All the right facilities, including drying room, pack lunch provision (perfect) and an excellent (and flexible) breakfast - freshly laid eggs for breakfast is definitely a good call. The attention to detail at Glengarry is amazing - we especially liked the... more

Glengarry House is a lovely place to stay. Everything about it is great. Lovely setting, beautiful room with a lovely view of Ben Lui, lovely hospitality, and very comfortable and clean. We had such a nice welcome after a long walk - tea and delicious home baking. We stayed here while walking the West Highland Way and I have to... more
