Stayed here only one night (sob!), but it was perfectly placed, as after it we had our longest day at 19 miles! Andy and Ellen are lovely people, they have Enfields and cats! And some wandering hens in the yard...The house is in top order, clean, freshly decorated, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is to die... more

We received a fantastic welcome with a much-needed coffee and brownie. The dinner was great and a real treat after 3 nights of pub grub. Service was fabulous and nothing too much trouble with the host driving another couple staying into town to buy wine and running some late arrivals down to the pub. When we arrive, Ellen greeted us and made us "a brew" with home made flapjack. Her and Andy's hospitality was second to none.
