This is how a B&B should be. Very warm and friendly welcome. Excellent room, comfortable bed with the decor and furniture that bit more than the norm. The breakfast was good and very well presented with a large choice. I would highly recommended this B&B It’s better than some 4 star hotels I’ve been in.

Elaine & Alan do all they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable, and really do go that extra mile to ensure your experience is perfect. I stayed here in June 2012 when my mum carried the Olympic Torch. The rooms were excellent - highly furbished with excellent quality items. stayed here while working in the town,lovely clean place,run b y a lovely friendly couple alan and elaine who went the extra mile to sort you out whatever problem arose.if anyone ever was looking for a recommendation for a b+b then the lakeview wins hands down,and i stayed in five others in the town.

Friendly and helpful, well appointed room and an excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend. Thank you! Tried haggis for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Would also recommend the sun ki restaurant a five minute walk away from the b and b for a first rate Chinese meal. All great after an 8 hour journey.

We booked for one night before taking the ferry from Cairnryan. Very friendly, clean, good value B&B. Yes, my single room wasn't huge but it had everything I needed. Would definitely use again if I had to catch the red eye ferry to Belfast. [The port's only ten minutes away.]
