We've stayed a couple of times in Hillcrest House and happily recommend it to friends. My wife and I enjoyed a short stay in Hillcrest House while visiting Wigtown. The hotel is spotlessly clean, our bedroom was large, well-furnished, with an excellent view, and with a large, modern bathroom.
