We stayed two nights at the Forest Hills for a friend's wedding. It was picked simply because it was the nearest place we could find to the reception venue, with the idea being we could walk back afterwards.
I would suggest that you don't stay there unless you really are desperate. The room was out of a time-warp. A four poster bed (actually a normal bed with a cheap metal four-poster frame) with the worst, dirty lace covering you could ever wish to see.
The tv was the oldest I have ever seen in a hotel (20years old at the absolute least) and the rest of the room was little better. Plus it smelt a bit. Oh, and the bathroom door didn't open properly. Plus the shelf in the bathroom was half out of the wall so things slipped off it. None of it felt particularly clean.
We'd booked the room at £60 a night, but when we checked out (they had no credit card machine so we had to drive to a bank to get cash) it turned out that normally it was £70 a night!!! I would say a fair price...
