Nice hotel, staff can be poor if you can find one during the day, bar is wet when it rains - through the ceiling onto the concrete floor. Food middle of the road. Great for a night out - live music, the customers make it, not the staff. more

Friendly staff, large but dated bedroom, long waits for bar and food service. My partners meal, chicken buirito had to be returned twice apeared microwaved and was cold even after going back twice. Plenty of parking, fab views o two mountains with waterfalls towering over.. Reccomeneded just for the view more
We were up on 24-26th April for my Hen Do. We climbed Ben Nevis on the Saturday and had a ball on the Saturday night in the Boots Bar. Everybody enjoyed it and everyone desperate to come back some time. The Inn initially said that we could not get breakfast early on the Saturday morning (as we were leaving the... more
Brilliant! The staff are very friendly. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean. Excellent location with brilliant views. Breakfast was one of the best I have had. Restaurant served excellent food. Brilliant atmosphere. Less than a 10 minute drive to the Glencoe ski resort. Less than half an hour to the Nevis Range. In the heart of some classic Scottish... more
This is an old mountaineer's hangout. Tell anyone in Scotland you're going to Glencoe and they'll say, "Staying at the Clachaig, right? Aye, I rememba' tha last time I was there. . " It's an institution, and an easy one to love. The rough-and-tumble, mossy-roofed place has 23 rooms...and THREE pubs. Talk about good ratios! Our room in the Ossian... more
We loved the Clachaig Inn. The rooms are a little rustic and worn, but the bathrooms are clean and fuctional and worked well. We ate dinner two nights in the boots bar (great haggis and venison), and had fun socializing both nights. The breakfast was good, and the hiking and scenery in the area was fantastic. more
I recently decided to go on my first ever holiday on my own and choose the Clachaig Inn as somewhere in set in a beautiful location and where as a lone traveller I would be able to eat in the evening and maybe have a drink or two. It did not disappoint at all. My single room was perfect, with... more
The Octoberfest deal was excellent value, free beer and whisky tasting were great, music brill. Bar food not so clever, much was served only slightly heated (cold!!). Rooms were OK but not given much of a clean. However what do you expect for Bed, breakfast and Dinner for five nights at £400 for two! Had we paid going rate for... more
We stayed here for one night on our way home from Tobermoray. I paid for a premier room, which was a nice large room, with a good sized bathroom. The problem was we were directly above the kitchen, in the wall there was an old Phantom Jet Engine, used as an extractor fan, which sounded like you were on the... more
We had 3 enjoyable nights stay with our 5 year old child. We had concerns about the noise from the bars but when booking the staff were excellent and advised us upon the best part to stay in. We did not hear a sound from the bar on any night of our stay (Room 17). The location is just beautiful... more
