My husband and I spent a night here and it was fantastic! Very comfy and warm room, excellent atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner (in the lounge area) - I can certainly recommend the venison casserole! The staff were helpful to a fault and we will certainly return, possibly with our pooch next time as its doggie friendly! Oh... More

I was one of a large party of ten who had booked to stay at the Clachaig Inn last weekend,we arrived early on the saturday intent on making the most of the day there and in the surrounding area the staff were extremely helpful on arrival at 10.30am, allowing us to leave belongings etc in one of the rooms until... We stayed here 1 night - and were very dissappointed - Poor Shower Pressure, cool rooms for winter, and not falling out of bed on the wrong side either. Neither deserving of racial predjudice either. I am not Colombian, but rather Polish, and although the previous poster complained about showers, opening times, and claimed to be 'on the tables' (therefore,... More

i was with a previous reviewer without the heating and want to comment on another review that says it is a 2 star establishment, even a two star establishment should have heating in minus conditions and it was rather odd that after the staff telling us that the boiler was broken going back to the room to find it on... 3rd time at the Clachaig Inn and we just love it. The setting is pretty spectacular, good wholesome food, excellent breakfast, range and choice of drinks extremely well catered for and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. Yes, there will be the odd small glitch in a 2 Star establishment and everything wasn't perfect. The shower was a... More

We have just returned from another nights stay at the Claichaig Inn. We have been coming to the Clachaig Inn for many years normally staying at the local campsite, but over the last few years we have decided to start staying in the hotel and we have not been disappointed yet. It was great to see that the Clachaig has... More

I stayed a Saturday and Sunday night in January and it was quite busy on the Saturday but dead on the Sunday. Staff were excellent and really helpful and attentive. Our room was in the main part of the hotel building and it was excellent if a little small. Shower no bath, which was a shame after a day walking... More

I have visited the Clachaig on 5 previous occasions, 3 of which were stays including staying over. This is a place I have recommended to many, and in fact have introduced to visitors from USA, Sweden, Kazakhstan, and now Colombia, so its clear I am a fan of the place. However, my recent stay 11th - 14th January 2012, was... More

Clachaig Inn came highly recommended and this wasn't my girlfriends first visit here having been previously with her family many years ago (again recommended by someone). We spent the day in discovering the Isle of Skye and made the drive back from there to Fort William and beyond to find the inn. Admittedly we got lost after driving past the... More

Was up in the Highlands with my wife and kids and we popped in here in a night for a meal and a few Beers. Fantastic portions and the food was lovely. It really is a gem in one of the most stunning settings in the world. We will return More
