Me and my husband went to memphis to get away and try out beale street. we only go to marriotts so we found this one to be priced reasonable. the hotel has apparently gone through some type of renovations so the appearance was very updated. we stayed for 3 nights. our housekeeper made certain that we had everything we needed.... more

We stayed at the Fairfield, Memphis I-240 for 2 nights during an extended cross country vacation. The location is good with very easy access from route 240 and an easy 15-20 minute drive to downtown. We arrived in the evening, after dark but had no trouble finding the place. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice but nothing outstanding. We asked for a room on the top floor, with King bed, Non- smoking, and quiet. That was exactly what we received and more! From the minute we walked in we were treated with smiles, courtesy, and efficiency. The desk clerks, Terry & Shannon, were spectacular. The room left alot to be desired. Lumpy bed no clock in the room. Thin walls and gross looking carpet. We checked out the very next morning and moved to a nearby Marriott for the rest of our stay. more

We checked in late, 10 pm, and noticed a peculiar odor in the hallways. Upon reaching the room, we found a live roach in the bathtub.
