We live in a suburb of Memphis and since our Anniversary was coming up we decided a night downtown might be fun. So we booked a club room at the Peabody and dinner at a restaurant close by that we had wanted to try. Upon arrival we were notified that the Club Level was closed for renovation, but they had... more

We took a long weekend trip over the 4th of July holiday. For the money, it was not worth it. The location is great, but that is about all I can say is great. The rooms themselves are nothing to be impressed with - I've stayed in rooms at Hampton Inns and Suites that were comparable in terms of decor.... more

I stayed at the Peabody with two of my adult children in May. We were atending the college graduation of a friend. The rooms were lovely as was the lobby area. We had two beds and they were willing to put a roll away in there also since my daughter was sick. It was very crowded but no one seemed... more

We were visiting Memphis to see Graceland and Beale St etc – a trip ive wanted to do for years and I highly anticipated this hotel, because I had heard so much about its history and how it was the best hotel in Memphis. After staying here I can say that I have stayed in far better! This hotel is... more

I would recommend this hotel to friends based soley on its location - it can't be beat. It also has lovely decor, and of course the "ducks" are cute. That's about it. Otherwise, I felt as if we were just one of 400 guests that they were more interested in processing through their system, rather than ensuring that our stay... more

I stayed at the Peabody Memphis on a trip with my husband and friends. I was shocked by how amazing the inside of the hotel was, it was just beautiful. We had two rooms, with a door inside that connected them. The beds were some of the softest I have layed on, the sheets were clean, fluffy, and very, very... more

My wife and I spent three nights here during a business trip. We had a very large king room on a high floor that had a separate sitting area with sofa and coffee table. The bathroom, while older, was luxuriously appointed and featured Peabody-branded amenities. It's a spectacle to see the famous Peabody Ducks twice daily, but if you've never... more

The peabody is understaffed. You will wait in long lines to check in, park your car, or ask a simple question. Furthermore, the lobby is always packed, and you have to wait in long lines to ride the elevator. Beyond that they charge you for everything they possibly can. We ordered 2 personal pan pizzas late at night, only to... more
