We just came back from the worst hotel/motel experience. The Airport Inn should not operate their business. Where should I begin? The overall room - it was smelly, molded, cracks in the wall, stains everywhere, and very badly installed windows (if you stay here, don't even think about staying the first floor. Someone can easily break into your room). The... more

Please learn from my mistake and do not stay at this establishment. It is dirty, rundown and spooky. We made a reservation through Orbitz for a non-smoking room but were initially placed in a smoking room that reeked. The second room was actually worse. My daughter's feet were blackened from walking across the carpeting barefoot. The furniture was covered in... more

We stayed there 2 nights at the end of Dec 2005 and didn't have any major problems. They hadn't received the reservations we made the day before at hotels dot com but they let us checkin w/o too much fuss anyway. The hotel is kinda run-down but it was clean enough and everything worked. Due to the neighborhood and some... more

Yes it's close to Graceland, but there are closer places to stay like the Scottish inn, or Gracelnad Hotel if proximity is important to you. Corridors and rooms are dark and dingy. there was a man sitting on the floor playing with his dog outside our room. There was some loud concert on nearby and the rooms are not sound-proofed.... more

We stayed shortly after Katrina and the hotel was full of refugees from New Orleans - so I would like to be charitable. Unfortunately there's no excuse for the hotel being so grotty. The carpets were smelly. The rooms were stale . The corridors are dark and unpleasant. We booked a non smoking room with breakfast. We got a smoking... more

I couldn't believe the service and quality of this hotel. I was on vacation with my wife and two boys and wanted to spend a few days in Memphis and a few days in Nashville and thought cheaper was better at the time. HOLY COW I WAS WRONG!!! The breakfast was terrible, they would only serve my wife and I... more

Stayed at the Airport Inn 21/05 ot 23/05. Best location. Shuttle to and from airport and Graceland. The friendliest and most helpful people. They go out of there way to make you feel right at home. Thank you to all for making our stay very pleasureable. more

Carpet alternated between smelling like a sour unwashed dog and bad bathroom deodorizer. The windows are not secure and look like they're easy to open from the outside with a bit of jiggling. The room phone doesn't work. You can't call long distance, housekeeping, or your friends in other rooms. They don't change the sheets. Not all rooms have a... more

This place must be a converted prison of some kind. Not a Federal joint, that would be too nice; but maybe was originally (like early 1920's) a state prison or maybe an asylum for the state of Tennessee. The walls appear to be concrete and the long cellblocks , errrrr....I mean hallways are very dimly lit and smell like an... more

Had reservation for two days in January 2004. No possible to call outside Memphis or use the Internet. Extremely bad smelly room, dirty. Bad service, arrogants. I checked out after 15 minutes because I couldn't use the phone and Internet (I need to stay in contact with customers). Guess what: they charged me with 2 nights, full package. I called... more
